You've been treating God's love like a contract, perform well, stay covered. Fail too many times, lose your standing. But that clause was never in the text. God looked at a people who wandered, doubted, and forgot — and He declared His faithfulness anyway. Not based on their track record. Based on His own nature. "It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning."  Lamentations 3:22–23 (KJV). His mercy isn't recycled. It's renewed. Every. Single. Morning. You were never removed from the covenant. He is drawing you still.

The Chair That Was a Masterpiece
 
A priceless chair — handed down through ignorant hands, painted over, nailed through, and sold for three dollars. That's what the fall did to love. Not a demolition. A catastrophic unknowing. We didn't become loveless; we became practitioners of a distorted love that kept the name but lost the foundation. And we handed that version to our children and called it love. "They have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water."  Jeremiah 2:13 (KJV). Stop digging broken cisterns. Bring Him the broken chair. The Craftsman never forgot the blueprint. Let the restoration begin.

That's what the fall distorted. That's what the Cross restored. The ache you carry isn't weakness — it's memory.
